Published by the airport sponsor; voluntary unless ATC assigns it. If ATC assigns this route to you in Class B, C or D airspace, that assignment is an ATC instruction and compliance is required (14 CFR 91.123) — and “unable” remains available to the pilot in command.

Downwind as close to half a mile as practical, roughly 500 ft south of the runway 5 chevrons or over the old T's; opposite-hand traffic if ATC allows.

The route

  1. Climb at best rate of climb (Vy) until pattern altitude; fly patterns at 1,000 ft AGL (1,132-1,200 ft MSL)
  2. Fly the downwind leg as close to ½ NM from the runway as practical
  3. Runway 29: for left traffic, fly the downwind approximately 500 ft south of the runway 5 chevrons, or over the old T's; if available per ATC, use right traffic
  4. Runway 11: for right traffic, fly the downwind approximately 500 ft south of the runway 5 chevrons, or over the old T's; if available per ATC, use left traffic
