vfr arrival Airport sponsor published verified 2026-08-28 (42 d ago)
Published by the airport sponsor; voluntary unless ATC assigns it. If ATC assigns this route to you in Class B, C or D airspace, that assignment is an ATC instruction and compliance is required (14 CFR 91.123) — and “unable” remains available to the pilot in command.
Intercept east of CAMRR at 6,500 ft from the north and east, east of LDOOR at 5,000 ft from the south; southwest downwinds turn final inside 10 miles.
The route
- Arrivals from the north and east: vectors to intercept the approach east of CAMRR (20 NM from the runway end) at or above 6,500 ft MSL
- Arrivals from the south through the southeast: vectors to intercept the approach east of LDOOR (15 NM from the runway end) at or above 5,000 ft MSL
- Aircraft entering a downwind from the southwest of Mather must turn onto final approach prior to 10 miles; if unable, they will be vectored to intercept final east of LDOOR at or above 5,000 ft MSL
- Whenever possible, arrivals should fly at or above the 3-degree glidepath, and use minimum reverse thrust once landed
- Limit maneuvering to areas south of the runway 22L final approach course
When it applies
- Runway configuration unconfirmed The current page's arrival items reference CAMRR and LDOOR without naming a runway, so applicability is left unconfirmed. The 22L final-approach-course wording appears only in the archived 2006 brochure and in the FAA Chart Supplement
