Published by the airport sponsor; voluntary unless ATC assigns it. If ATC assigns this route to you in Class B, C or D airspace, that assignment is an ATC instruction and compliance is required (14 CFR 91.123) — and “unable” remains available to the pilot in command.
Turbojets off the 22s turning north or northwest begin turns at or above 1,100 ft MSL; VFR pistons make no turns before 700 ft MSL.
The route
- VFR turbojet aircraft departing runways 22R and 22L to the north or northwest from the runway centerline are to begin turns at or above 1,100 ft MSL
- VFR piston aircraft departing the traffic pattern shall not make turns prior to reaching 700 ft MSL
- Departing aircraft are encouraged to climb to ATC clearance altitudes as soon as practical

VFR Turbojet aircraft departing on Runways 22R and 22L, to the north or northwest from the centerline of the runway, are to begin turns at or above 1,100 feet Mean Sea Level (MSL). VFR piston aircraft departing the traffic pattern shall not make turns prior to reaching 700 feet MSL. Departure aircraft are encouraged to climb to ATC clearance altitudes as soon as practical.
