noise abatement Airport sponsor published verified 2026-08-28 (42 d ago)
Published by the airport sponsor; voluntary unless ATC assigns it. If ATC assigns this route to you in Class B, C or D airspace, that assignment is an ATC instruction and compliance is required (14 CFR 91.123) — and “unable” remains available to the pilot in command.
Climb upwind at Vy to 1,100 ft before crosswind, 1,500 ft in the pattern; per-runway landmarks for 16, 34 and 29.
The route
- All runways: climb upwind at Vy, crabbing to hold the extended centerline; climb to 1,100 ft MSL then turn crosswind; continue to 1,500 ft MSL and complete a standard pattern
- Runway 16 (left traffic): turn crosswind over Office Park, and overfly Fairview Country Club and Tamarack Country Club before turning base
- Runway 34 (right traffic): overfly Tamarack Country Club from crosswind to downwind
- Runway 29 (left traffic): a noise sensitive community lies approximately 3,000 ft from the end of runway 29
Where it actually is
North up. The sponsor names these landmarks and publishes no coordinate for any of them — everything positioned here is derived, and each coordinate's provenance is listed with its point below. Dashed markers are depicted: this site's reading of the written route, not published fixes.
- Climb to 1,100 ft before crosswind, 1,500 ft on downwind Westchester County Airport Two crossing runways on a wooded plateau at 439 ft, hard against the Connecticut line, with the Kensico and Rye Lake reservoirs to the west and I-684 running north-south past the west side. satellite Apple Maps coordinate: FAA airport record (NASR), airport reference point
- RWY 16 left traffic: overfly before turning base Fairview Country Club Golf course 0.7 NM east of the field, overflown on runway 16 left traffic before turning base. - RWY 16 and RWY 34 traffic both overfly Tamarack Tamarack Country Club Open golf course 1.9 NM north of the field. Used twice: the NOVEMBER arrival runs along its northeast side, and runway 34 right traffic overflies it from crosswind to downwind. satellite Apple Maps street view coordinate: OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL)

This entry describes several named routes, so the landmarks are plotted and no single track is drawn. Bearings are magnetic, converted from true at each leg's midpoint through the WMM 2025 model this site ships (12.7°W here). Shoreline, water, highways and runways © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL).
