KLVK Livermore Muni — local VFR procedures
Not for navigation. These are locally published VFR routes, reproduced with sources; verify against the official documents linked from each procedure before flight.
Pattern altitude 1,400' MSL. Noise-sensitive areas lie 3/4 mile east in Livermore and 2 miles west and northwest in Pleasanton and Dublin. The guide's own header: "FOR REFERENCE ONLY! ALWAYS COMPLY WITH ATC INSTRUCTIONS! SAFETY IS ALWAYS PARAMOUNT!" Do not mistake the parallel taxiway north of runway 25R/7L for the runway.
VFR departures
West flow — 25L / 25R
- Circulation Plan — Runways 25R/25L — The guide's west-flow corridor map: preferred departure corridors west/northwest/north, southwest and east/northeast, and 45° pattern joins from north and south.
Other local procedures
All operations — 7L / 7R / 25L / 25R
- Recommended VFR Procedures — Tight patterns, preferred corridors, no straight-in VFR arrivals or low passes, and no abrupt power or propeller RPM changes.
- Voluntary Restraint from Night Flying — Requested: no flying 2200-0600 local, especially jets. Arrivals hold pattern altitude as long as practical; departures climb quickly and avoid intersection takeoffs.
These routes are advisory as published — none of them is a regulation. Assigned by ATC in Class B, C or D airspace, a route becomes an ATC instruction under 14 CFR 91.123; “unable” remains available to the pilot in command. Each procedure page shows its own authority level and links its primary sources.
