Published by the airport sponsor; voluntary unless ATC assigns it. If ATC assigns this route to you in Class B, C or D airspace, that assignment is an ATC instruction and compliance is required (14 CFR 91.123) — and “unable” remains available to the pilot in command.
Keep all traffic east of the field, fly the full pattern, avoid the Eastsound village core, fly the PAPI.
The route
- No traffic west of the field
- Do not cut pattern short (see the brochure map)
- Avoid Eastsound Village core when possible
- Fly the PAPI — the field has pilot-controlled lighting
- Touch-and-go's are discouraged
When it applies
- Arriving 16 or 34 — all arrivals The brochure does not distinguish runway; pattern is east of the field for both ends (16 left / 34 right traffic)
