Published by the airport sponsor; voluntary unless ATC assigns it. If ATC assigns this route to you in Class B, C or D airspace, that assignment is an ATC instruction and compliance is required (14 CFR 91.123) — and “unable” remains available to the pilot in command.
Use 16R-34L; 34L departures encouraged in calm wind; downwind mid-channel at 2100' MSL; no early turns (34L: shoreline, 16R: 3000' MSL).

- Runway 34L departures are encouraged in calm wind conditions
- VFR approaches: downwind should be flown mid-channel at pattern altitude, 2100' MSL
- Departures (IFR or VFR): intersection takeoffs are discouraged; use standard NBAA / Aircraft Operating Manual noise abatement procedures
- Runway 34L: avoid turns before reaching the shoreline
- Runway 16R: avoid turns until reaching 3000' MSL

JET, TURBOPROP & LARGE PROPELLER AIRCRAFT Use Runway 16R-34L: Repetitive touch and go operations and training flights are discouraged. Runway 34L departures are encouraged in calm wind conditions. Approaches: Standard NBAA/Aircraft Operating Manual noise abatement procedures should be used. Circle to land maneuvers are discouraged. Missed approach instructions will be assigned by ATC.
