noise abatement Airport sponsor published verified 2026-08-28 (42 d ago)
Published by the airport sponsor; voluntary unless ATC assigns it. If ATC assigns this route to you in Class B, C or D airspace, that assignment is an ATC instruction and compliance is required (14 CFR 91.123) — and “unable” remains available to the pilot in command.
Requested: no operations 2300-0700, reduce prop RPM as soon as possible after takeoff, limit APU use to 30 minutes.
The route
- All aircraft operators are asked not to operate between 2300 and 0700 local
- Propeller-driven aircraft should reduce prop RPM as soon as possible after take-off
- Limit auxiliary power unit usage to 30 minutes
- The airport has no power to penalise non-compliance — the FAA prohibits punitive action against a pilot who chooses not to use the voluntary procedures
When it applies
- Runway 13 or 31 — all operations Airport-wide; not flow-dependent
