vfr departure Airport sponsor published effective 2026-09-25 verified 2026-10-07 (2 d ago)
Published by the airport sponsor; voluntary unless ATC assigns it. If ATC assigns this route to you in Class B, C or D airspace, that assignment is an ATC instruction and compliance is required (14 CFR 91.123) — and “unable” remains available to the pilot in command.
Departure off 14R with a continuous right turn over the Duwamish, then west toward the north tip of Vashon Island.
The route
- Depart full-length RWY 14R and fly straight out until reaching 700' MSL
- Make a continuous right turn to the downwind to remain over or inside of the Duwamish River, maintain 700' MSL until turning westbound
- At the South Park Bridge and white Boeing tent hangars, make a left turn westbound toward the north tip of Vashon Island and begin a climb to remain below KSEA Class B, pass south of Lincoln Park westbound
Where it actually is

Put it in the GPS
