Published by the airport sponsor; voluntary unless ATC assigns it. If ATC assigns this route to you in Class B, C or D airspace, that assignment is an ATC instruction and compliance is required (14 CFR 91.123) — and “unable” remains available to the pilot in command.
No touch-and-go or pattern work 2200-0700 daily, plus County-wide helicopter rules stated as requirements.
The route
- No touch-and-go landings or traffic pattern work allowed between 2200 and 0700 daily
- Helicopter arrivals and departures shall be limited to the runways unless instructed otherwise by ATC
- Helicopters landing over runway areas shall promptly clear the runway; hover-taxi is permitted only to and from designated helicopter parking and the runways
- Helicopters shall not practice hover-taxi, air-taxi or full-on auto-rotations on any runway, ramp, taxiway or non-movement area except as authorized by the County Director of Aviation
- County Code Title 19: aircraft shall be operated so as to create the least amount of noise commensurate with safe operation; formation takeoffs or landings shall not be permitted

OPERATIONAL LIMITATIONS No touch-and-go landings or traffic pattern work allowed between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. daily. HELICOPTER OPERATION PROCEDURES — Due to airport's size and design constraints, the following procedures are required to ensure safe operations for all users. 2. All helicopter arrivals and departures shall be limited to the runways unless instructed otherwise by Air Traffic Control. 4. Hover-taxi is permitted to and from designated helicopter parking areas and the runways only. 6. Helicopters shall not practice the following: hover-taxi, air-taxi, or full-on (touchdown) auto-rotations on any runway, ramp, taxiway, or non-movement area except as authorized by the Director of Aviation for the County of Los Angeles. Aircraft shall be operated in a manner while on the ground or in flight so as to create the least amount of noise commensurate with safe operation. 19.04.780 Aircraft operation - Formation takeoffs and landings.
