Traffic pattern altitude 1,300 ft MSL. Runway 1 uses a standard left-hand pattern, runway 19 a non-standard right-hand pattern. The County's disclaimer: the procedures "are not intended to preempt the prerogatives or responsibilities of the pilot-in-command, conflict with safe aircraft operations, or interfere with ATC instructions."

  • Runway 1 Procedures — Left-hand pattern; bear right and remain over the wash before turning — the County publishes that altitude as both 800 ft MSL and 1,300 ft MSL on two live pages.

Runway 19

  • Runway 19 Procedures — Non-standard right-hand pattern; follow the wash across the 10 Freeway before turning — again published as both 800 and 1,300 ft MSL.

  • Operational Limitations — No touch-and-go or pattern work 2200-0700 daily, plus County-wide helicopter rules stated as requirements.

Assigned by ATC in Class B, C or D airspace, a route becomes an ATC instruction under 14 CFR 91.123; “unable” remains available to the pilot in command.
