vfr departure Airport sponsor published verified 2026-08-28 (42 d ago)

Published by the airport sponsor; voluntary unless ATC assigns it. If ATC assigns this route to you in Class B, C or D airspace, that assignment is an ATC instruction and compliance is required (14 CFR 91.123) — and “unable” remains available to the pilot in command.

Left-hand pattern; bear right and remain over the wash before turning — the County publishes that altitude as both 800 ft MSL and 1,300 ft MSL on two live pages.

The route

  1. Arrivals: left-hand pattern
  2. Departures: speed and altitude permitting, bear right and remain over the wash before executing any turn. The County's current pamphlet gives that altitude as 800 feet MSL; its legacy page, still live, gives 1,300 feet MSL
  3. Traffic pattern: left-hand. Bear right and follow the wash before turning crosswind, and keep the downwind leg within 1 mile of the runway for noise abatement
