vfr departure Airport sponsor published verified 2026-08-28 (42 d ago)

Published by the airport sponsor; voluntary unless ATC assigns it. If ATC assigns this route to you in Class B, C or D airspace, that assignment is an ATC instruction and compliance is required (14 CFR 91.123) — and “unable” remains available to the pilot in command.

Non-standard right-hand pattern; follow the wash across the 10 Freeway before turning — again published as both 800 and 1,300 ft MSL.

The route

  1. Arrivals: right-hand pattern (non-standard)
  2. Departures: speed and altitude permitting, bear right and follow the wash until crossing the 10 Freeway before executing any turn. The current pamphlet gives the altitude as 800 feet MSL; the legacy County page gives 1,300 feet MSL
  3. Traffic pattern: right-hand. Follow the wash across the 10 Freeway before turning crosswind, and keep the downwind leg within 1 mile of the runway
