noise abatement Airport sponsor published verified 2026-08-28 (42 d ago)
Published by the airport sponsor; voluntary unless ATC assigns it. If ATC assigns this route to you in Class B, C or D airspace, that assignment is an ATC instruction and compliance is required (14 CFR 91.123) — and “unable” remains available to the pilot in command.
Avoid 2200-0700, prefer runway 01/19, published pattern directions per runway; the whole program is a voluntary effort.
The route
- Avoid flying between 2200 and 0700; schedule and conduct flight training between 0700 and 2200
- Use the preferential runway 01/19 whenever possible
- Use the Standard Instrument Departure off runway 32; on departure turn to heading 010° and fly northbound along Route 110
- Pattern directions: right traffic runway 01, left traffic runway 19, right traffic runway 32, left traffic runway 14
- Use touch-and-go flight tracks north and east of the airport
- Use thrust reduction techniques, Stage 3 aircraft whenever possible, and NBAA or manufacturer noise abatement techniques
Where it actually is
North up. The sponsor names these landmarks and publishes no coordinate for any of them — everything positioned here is derived, and each coordinate's provenance is listed with its point below. Dashed markers are depicted: this site's reading of the written route, not published fixes.

- RWY 32: then fly northbound along Route 110 Route 110 abeam the field Broadhollow Road, the main north-south arterial up the west side of the airport. A LINE, not a point: three procedures follow it. - Preferential runway 01/19; touch-and-go tracks north and east of the field Republic Airport Two crossing runways in the middle of built-up Long Island, with Route 110 up the west side and the Long Island Expressway two and a half miles north. A noise sensitive area sits one mile west of the field — approaching from due west is specifically discouraged. satellite Apple Maps coordinate: FAA airport record (NASR), airport reference point
This entry describes several named routes, so the landmarks are plotted and no single track is drawn. Bearings are magnetic, converted from true at each leg's midpoint through the WMM 2025 model this site ships (12.7°W here). Shoreline, water, highways and runways © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL). Class B/C/D boundaries: FAA Aeronautical Information Services.

Republic Airport (FRG) Recommended Noise Abatement Procedures The program was established in 1984 to reduce sound levels in the vicinity of the airport. The program is a voluntary effort on the part of aircraft operators. Noise Abatement measures in no way take precedence over Air Traffic Control Instructions. ■ Avoid Flying Between 10:00 PM And 7:00 AM ■ Use Thrust Reduction Techniques ■ Use Standard Instrument Departure (SID) Runway 32 ■ Use Stage 3 Aircraft, Whenever Possible ■ Use Runway 01/19, Whenever Possible ■ Use National Business Aircraft Association Or Manufacturer's Suggested Noise Abatement Techniques [Awareness bulletin, under 12,500 lbs:] Use the Preferential Runway 01/19 / Use touch and go flight tracks north and east of the Airport Right Traffic Runway 01 / Left Traffic Runway 19 / Right Traffic Runway 32 / Left Traffic Runway 14
