Traffic pattern altitude 1,100 ft AGL for reciprocating engines, 1,600 ft AGL for turboprop and jet. Preferential runway 01/19. Published pattern directions: right traffic 01 and 32, left traffic 19 and 14.

- Arrival Procedures — Enter the pattern from the northeast at 1,100 ft (singles) or 1,600 ft (twins and turboprops); jets hold 1,600 ft or higher as long as practical.
VFR departures

- Light Aircraft Departure Procedures — A published profile off each end: to the Long Island Expressway off 01, Sunrise Highway off 19, a right 190° off 14 and a right 010° up Route 110 off 32.
- Jet Departure Procedures — Right to 220° off 14 and 19, right to 010° off 32, runway heading off 01 — all at V2+20 not exceeding 190 KIAS.

- Helicopter Noise Abatement Routes — Named routes established in 1993 — Microwave, Southern, Transition and Parkway — now carried on the FAA helicopter route charts.

- Voluntary Noise Abatement Program — Avoid 2200-0700, prefer runway 01/19, published pattern directions per runway; the whole program is a voluntary effort.
These routes are advisory as published — none of them is a regulation. Assigned by ATC in Class B, C or D airspace, a route becomes an ATC instruction under 14 CFR 91.123; “unable” remains available to the pilot in command.
