Standard left-hand patterns are published for runways 35L, 35R and 31; right-hand patterns for 17R, 17L and 13. Pattern altitude is 600 ft AGL for runway 17R-35L and 1,000 ft AGL for the other runways. Runway 13/31 is closed 2200-0700.

Runway 17L / 35R

  • Heavy Aircraft Departure Climb Profile — Aircraft over 12,500 lbs departing 17L/35R climb at maximum safe rate to 1,500 ft AGL, then reduce power and climb rate to 3,000 ft AGL or 2 NM out.

Assigned by ATC in Class B, C or D airspace, a route becomes an ATC instruction under 14 CFR 91.123; “unable” remains available to the pilot in command.
