KSEE Gillespie Fld — local VFR procedures
Not for navigation. These are locally published VFR routes, reproduced with sources; verify against the official documents linked from each procedure before flight.
Tower hours 0700-2100; when it is open the tower picks the runway. Prevailing winds are from the west averaging 5 knots or more, so most traffic departs west and arrives from the east on 27L and 27R. The 9R/27L pattern altitude was raised to 1,400' MSL by FAA determination in July 2016 without changing the pattern footprint. Simulated engine failures are prohibited over residential areas.

These routes are advisory as published — none of them is a regulation. Assigned by ATC in Class B, C or D airspace, a route becomes an ATC instruction under 14 CFR 91.123; “unable” remains available to the pilot in command. Each procedure page shows its own authority level and links its primary sources.
